Swimming Techniques

there are four common styles of swimming : freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, and butterfly ( dolphin ). 

Freestyle ( front crawl ) 

compared to other swimming styles, freestyle is a swim style that can make people swim faster. unlike other third-style swimming,  front crawl swimming is not regulated by the international swimming federation ( FINA ). freestyle (front crawl) is swimming with chest position overlooking the water surface. both hands alternately moved further ahead with a pedaling motion, while both feet alternately dicambukkan up and down up and down. when swimming freestyle, positioning her face to the surface of the water. breathing is done when the arm is moved to the outside of the water, when the body becomes tilted and head turned to the side. when taking a breath, swimmers can choose to turn left or right. 

compared to other swimming styles, freestyle is a swim style that can make the body go faster in the water. unlike backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly, the international swimming federation ( fina ) is not set techniques used in freestyle number. although there is still a freestyle to another, freestyle ( front crawl ) is used almost universally by the number of swimmers in freestyle swimming 

Breast Stroke 
Breaststroke is the most popular style when people do recreational swimming. head could be on the water in a long time. people who are learning to swim normally start from the chest dada. Style learning style or styles frog is swimming with chest position overlooking the water surface, but different from freestyle, torso always be fixed. both the kicking leg outward while both hands straightened out in front. both open hands to the sides like water splitting for body movement to move faster forward. body movements mimic the movements of the frog was swimming so called frog style. mouth breathing is done when the surface of the water, after a one-time gesture-foot or two-foot hand movement times. 

breaststroke is a swimming style of the most popular outdoor recreation. stable body position and head can be out of water for a long time. in swimming lessons, beginners learn breaststroke swimmer or freestyle. among the three official swimming numbers that set the international swimming federation ( FINA ), breaststroke swimmer was the slowest swimmer. 

Backstroke 

When swimming backstroke, people easily take a breath, but could not see ahead. in the race to swim, swimmer doing backstroke start of the water. style similar to swim freestyle, but done with telentang. Style back posture is to swim with your back facing the water surface. foot and hand motions similar to freestyle, but with the supine body position in the water. both hands alternately driven to the waist like a pedaling motion. mouth and nose are out of the water so easy to take or dispose of breath with the mouth or nose. 

when swimming backstroke, the position of the face is above the water so the swimmer just look up and can not look ahead. during a race, swimmers poolside wall estimate by calculating the amount of movement. 

different from the attitude start freestyle, breaststroke, or butterfly done on the starting blocks, backstroke swimmer while racing to the start of the pool. swimmers pool facing the wall with both hands holding an iron grip. knees bent in between the two arms, while both feet resting on the wall of the pool. 

backstroke is swimming style that has been known since ancient times. was first contested at the 1900 paris olympics, swimming the backstroke is the oldest styles that competed after freestyle 

Butterfly 

most beginners think of butterfly as the most difficult swimming styles studied. butterfly was created in 1933, and is the most recent swim styles. butterfly is one of style swim with chest position overlooking the water surface. both arms simultaneously pressed down and moved to the outside before it swung forward. while both legs simultaneously kicking down and up like a fish tail fin movement or dolphins. forcefully exhaled air from the mouth and nose before the head emerges from the water, and the air inhaled through the mouth when the head is out of water. 

compared to other swimming style, swim butterfly style requires great strength of the swimmers. fastest swimmer butterfly can swim faster than freestyle swimmer. swim speed butterfly swing obtained from both hands simultaneously. butterfly is the latest in style swimming pool match. butterfly swimmer first time participating in a swimming competition in 1933. 

different from freestyle, breaststroke, and backstroke are generally easily controlled, beginners need more time to study the movement of the hand and foot coordination in the butterfly style. most of the beginners are also considered as the butterfly style of the hardest to learn. compared to the three other swimming styles, poor movement technique in butterfly style can not be covered by the amount of energy spent swimmers.
