What Is a Swimm?

Swimming is the movement by humans or animals when moving in the water, and usually without artificial equipment. swimming can be a recreational activity and sport. living creatures swim among others for bathing, cooling the body temperature, while fishing, or moving from one place to another in the water. 
almost all mammals have a natural instinct to be able to swim, including bats, kangaroos, moles, and sloth. humans do not have the ideal body for life in the water, so it needs to be trained before they can swim. most of the monkeys can swim naturally, including proboscis monkeys, crab-eating monkeys, and rhesus monkeys. 

animals that may not be able to swim is a giraffe, and a hedgehog. land birds can swim or float for some time. ostrich, cassowary, and turtles can swim. 

swimming for recreation and competition purposes do people in the pool. humans also swim in the river, on the lake, and at sea as a form of recreation. swimming exercise keeps the body healthy because almost all body muscles used while swimming. 

History 
paintings of swimmers from the stone age have been found in the cave swimmer adjacent to the wadi sora in the gilf kebir, southwest egypt. written record of swimming has been around since 2000 bc. in 1538, nicolas wynman, professor of german child language, wrote the first book about swimming. swimming races in europe began about the year 1800, and most of the participants using the breaststroke. front crawl style, when it was called the style trudgen, introduced in 1873 by john arthur trudgen is copied from the indians. 

swimming is one sport in the 1896 athens olympics. in 1900, put in backstroke olympic games as an event. in 1902, the style best trudgen won by richard cavill, using keribas kick. the first swimming world unity, federation internationale de natation, formed in 1908. butterfly which was originally a one-style chest abnormalities was accepted as a separate style in 1952.
